The Ulux is the luxury version of the Ulite, of course also with an E17 base and available in 3, 6, 9, 12 and 18 Watt. The lamp has a unique feature of a replaceable tube and a high quality preheat inverter to give over 100.000 on-off switching cycles and over 10.000 burning hours. In principle you will never need to change the tube; but if, for example, you accidentally drop the lamp and break the tube, you do not need to throw away the expensive electronics; instead you just can buy a replacement tube for 1/3rd of the price of a complete lamp.
